Anyone else staying in for new years?

Nah, best to stay at home on what I call alcohol holidays unless you got the guaranteed limo/Red Car or want to chance with Uber. At least in the DMV, Ive participated in too many people going to jail between right before Thanksgiving to a week after New Years because the Feds up the budget for enforcement. A big, big, money maker. Stay Safe. I advise everyone, liquor store, Harris Teeter, or go out in a cab or Uber and if not, be prepared to make that 10k payment (to me and the courts) and loss of future employment. Take those dollars and enjoy meals for the rest of the year. Too many people in the DMV (looking at you Montgomery County police way overfunded) to take a chance on dumb shyt for over aggressive policing on these holidays. With license plate scanning, its way too easy to target people already in the system and make the quota. This year even worse because of Noah's law. Stay safe.

Yep. This is the reason I always stay in for New Years. Not to mention the drunk drivers, gun shooting and other foolishness.

This state of life is depressing because I could be home having the time of my life

I came down to my parent's place in Atlanta for Christmas and I decided to stay through New Year's. I should've went back to New York.

I hit up 3 friends. Friend #1 comes and picks me up. We head over to Friend #2's parent's house (we're all in our early 30s). Friend #3 stops by later.

We end up eating pizza, playing some weird computer game, and watching YouTube videos. I was home by 11. The third friend has an excuse, he just got married and his wife is overseas.

They're my dudes, but there's no hope for the other two. And I should've went back to NYC for New Year's.

update: So I decided at the last minute I was going to go to Vancouver BC for NYE with my roommates at this airbnb.

fukkin disaster. Shoulda stayed home.

Left late as shyt cuz we had to stop in downtown Seattle

Ran into hard snow on the way up there


We get to the Canadian border....and none of have passports (they insisted we didnt "need" them the whole drive up there) so we were put in the waiting area....only to be turned back to the USA since one of my roommates has two DUIs and is barred entry from canada for 10 years

Stop at some POS Indian Reservation Casino with little to no hot women and stopped serving drinks at 1:30

Ran into an even bigger snow storm the way back

And to top it off, I lost my fukkin DoD ID Card.

I cant ever fukkin get a win brehs. 2017 is off to a wonderful start already.

After watching my Buckeyes get their ass kicked on national tv, I just fell asleep on my friend's couch for the New Years . Hope 2017 starts off better for me.

Second year in a row I "stayed in". Went to my homies crib with his ppls and had a good time. Ate good, good convo. I'm not sure I care for those big new years parties. They're almost always not worth that high cost of admission.
