cuz you don't "feel safe" sleeping uncovered? 
it'll be 90 degrees in my apartment on a hot summer night and i still can't sleep outside the cover/sheets cuz i feel much more vulnerable. and yes, i halfway think there's going to be some evil spirit that might grab me (too may horror movies), as if a cover changes anything
(don't believe in monsters under the bed tho 
)
i also have no clue why i think if someone broke in my house, they'd leave me alone cuz i was covered vs sleeping without cover

. For some reason i think even a sheet Can protect me from spirits, so can't sleep without one. smh. Moms had me paranoid from birth.had me sleeping with a bible under my pillow til i was in my late teens.
