I still get a full cut/lineup every week, but I stopped the barber from doing the full hairline. So I get the front lined, then the angle where the sides meet the front, but I don't get the area that curves down to your sideburns lined up anymore. I've noticed my shyt looks a lot "healthier" now.

Yet that temple region is the most delicate part of your hairline. Its usually the first to go. If I started getting line ups I would stay away from that region too.

I haven't had a line up in years and it looks similar to Obama's own.

I used to have the squiggly hairline when I would regularly cut my hair and get line ups. Ever since I been growing my hair and stopped the lines up its become straighter and more fuller.
This is what mine looks like too. Especially after i add some leave in conditioner to make the hair look fuller. No lineup needed

The reason I stopped doing it was because imo it's the "make or break" of the haircut, it seems like every barber I go to can knock out tapering or fading the back, lining up the front, and getting the length of the hair right, but I've been thru so many barbers that fukk up that area of the temple/side of the hairline. So many barbers out here refuse to go with the natural growth of your line no matter how many times you tell em and just try to create their own hairline, pushing your shyt higher than it needs to be. That's why I just said fukk it and started having my barber rub it out, grows in naturally on its own and looks good when it blends in with the taper.
