Anyone else take off from work on their birthday?

the way i see it- i work with a really small group(3 people).. already spend a majority of my week, and time with them.. therefore, their basically like a small family i would spend my day hanging out with on my birthday..

make some money, eat some good food all day & go celebrate that night.. sounds like a win to me..

My team isn’t small, about 25 of us, but we’re alike in personalities that we hang out and are friends outside of work.

Every birthday, the white pawgs brings in a shyt load of treats. Then the team takes me out to lunch. And then I get free drinks for the rest of the night because we bar hop after. Really ain’t no reason to stay home. Have my girlfriend come meet up with us at the bars when she gets off of work so she doesn’t feel neglected and then we do something another day.
