Not necessarily. The things I dislike about it from observing it is the fact that more thought goes into the ceremony than the union itself. Another thing is people usually don't lay all of their intentions out on the table. Also the fact that couples tend to lack conflict resolution skills. Along with the fact that men get married because of an ultimatum that was given. So all of those things combined along with some things I don't feel like typing make marriage corny to me.
