naw, my uncle worked in one of the towers n because he's black n usually running late, he escaped being killed that day.

I didn't mean to laugh at that but same thing happened to a family friend who worked at the Pentagon. He was running late, per usual due to "495 traffic", and luckily wasn't involved in the fukkery. Black people and Asians are on their own time and it paid off on this day.

A lot of black people died during 9/11 actually, I remember reading once that out of the 3000 that were killed about 300-400 were black :mjcry:
That metric ton of death, cement, steel, & bodies slamming down one floor after another didn't discriminate :mjcry:
Im all the way on the West Coast but I still remember being in third grade watching the news in class, everyone was scared to death, parents coming to get their kids early. I remember my mom was freaking out because their was a rumor that their might be a bomb in LA, and my daddy was a janitor at one of the big buildings downtown. It was crazy.

I think everyone is on this whole "Never Forget" thing, because it didn't happen THAT long ago. I mean yeah, 14 years is a decent amount of time but not thaaaaaaat long. Give it another generation or 2. Our kids/grandkids are gonna see it the same way we see something like the Titanic.

Yeah as you get older time seems to go so much faster and you realize 14 years ain't really shyt

It doesn't seem like 14 years at all.But I was also in queens maybe 15 minutes from the wtc so maybe it's not the same for people who weren't near it

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane was supposed to be on one of those planes but was late.....:wow:

Yeah except there were black people that were victims of 9/11.

Is anyone arguing that?

It's always remember Pearl Habor, the Holocaust, and 9/11.

But when it comes to slavery: "Black people should get over it".

I always see that meme about the holocaust, slavery and 9/11, but has anyone actually heard a white person say this ?
