friends that tempt you to drink because you'll realize that by associating with your old drinking friends you'll see yourself slowly going back to your old ways and drinking agaib..
I tend to binge when I go out, and it's getting played. Plus this area isn't like the last two bases where it was an accepted way of life.

I noticed this. Some very close friendships I have just involve us getting fukked up together so I don't know how it would be if I just stayed the sober one at the hangouts.

How it is with me. I can't do it in moderation .
Drankin' in moderation since 2014.
I prefer whiskey, never been a fan of beer. Drinking alcohol doesn't make yourself cool in any fashion. For me I just want to savor a bit of fire water, when I feel like celebrating a tad. Truth is though Alcohol dehydrates your body, aging you faster.
Thats why you see a ton girls looking fugly before they hit their 30's.

I was having this convo with my cousin yesterday. He's an alcoholic and he was telling me how he's going to stop drinking(he says this twice a year).
"After Monday I won't drink for the rest of the year" I'm listening to him like
.. This nikka can't stick to anything to save his life.
Don't be like him, my advice to you is never give yourself the "I'm having a bad day" excuse. Set a date for yourself, don't drink anything until that day comes. When you can make rules for yourself and stick to them that's when your in control

a good start is not keeping liquor or beer in your house and only drinking when you go out...then gradually learn to enjoy going out without drinking....
