I know the assumption has always been hes an all in it for the money guy but that narrative was amplified tenfold after last night. Has no love for business, doesn't fukk with the boys, could truly care less. There were several times Austin tried to get some kinda passion outta him but this guy simply does not care. All the true legends love this biz, this guy should not be considered a legend in anyway.

I'm not, but it was kinda sad to see. Not for me or any fans, but for a guy to be so good at something and give zero fukks about it. Doesn't know the history, doesn't know his own matches, breaking the streak for him only meant that he was going to be a bigger draw, etc. Literally everything they asked him turned into "I don't care, I show up, I clock out and get paid." The only time it really seemed like he had an appreciation for it was when he was talking about Bossman and Hennig schooling him.

It's actually surprising that beards mark for this guy.

That redneck chatter had me about to fall the fukk out though.

That was a bad interview for a face . Man straight gives zero fukks :heh: i can see why some people get pushed or not pushed due to backstage stuff . Some niccas must be impossible to deal with , cena must be a godsend

This is exactly why they shouldn't have let him end the streak. Still one of the worst decisions that they've made.

It didn't really sit well with me that he didn't give a fukk about his Wrestlemania match with Goldberg. Yeah we know the backstory but he could have at least pretended to give a damn.

In a funny way, it feels like this is refelctive of Vince's attitude now. Customer satisfaction doesn't really factor into the equation, as long as the receipts add up. That's fine - he's running a business. Bringing Brock in was pretty much a quick fix for the company in terms of resources. They don't have to spend TV time building him up as fans are already familiar with him, and he comes with mainstream recognition. And in return he gets a shytload of money, jet fuel and moose meat.

It's interesting if you look at someone like Punk who had a real love of the business, who essentially felt driven out by the system at the E, and contrast it with Brock's attitude and look at the things it has got for him.

I always thought it's because he squashed Cena. Brock ending The Streak had the potential to start a bold new direction in the storytelling, but Creative never really had it in them to deliver.

I didnt see the interview but its funny to see people saying the interview was boring yet were mad when Paige had an podcast interview. Paige has a fun personality and her interview was insightful about her long wrestling history even at 23 years old

which is why he needs to be a heel.

the problem is everyone else on the roster is so bland and terrible that the people take to brock by default.
