I don't care about those delusions, nikka. Talking about a Dean's list when you been committed in every state. You probably didn't spazz out while painting with crayons and the head nurse printed out an image from Google saying you made it on the Dean's list.

Mental health is no joke. I had a mental breakdown while in graduate school while working on my PhD. I started feeling helpless, depressed, and wasn’t getting any help so I tripped out. Ended up being hospitalized twice, with a monthlong outpatient program that followed it up.

What sucks is you can’t get out without a doctors approval, so everyday you’re trying do the sessions, show calmness and an improved demeanor, because even though it’s pretty laidback in there, you get ready to go back home, especially when start seeing the ones you came in with leave.
Lexapro really fukked with my memory. Trazedone almost took me out the second time so I stay away from sleep shyt
It taught me self care techniques, that it’s ok to go seek help, and I haven’t been that bad since. It’s better to seek help than just crash out on yourself or others.
Never got a bill, idk why but maybe a patient being admitted involuntarily makes a difference; or you get admitted through the hospital which collects your insurance information beforehand
