Anyone ever been to a psych ward? Could it save my life?

Been multiple times and it definitely helped me at my lowest. I've not really had any negative experiences, unless you're combative or on some other shyt then you'll be cool unless it's an exceptionally bad facility. Not likely you'll be out in just 2 days though, I would say really make sure that you're sure about checking yourself in if your job isn't going to be patient with you and shyt like that.

Since you troll so much I don't know when to take you seriously, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. First of all, understand that if you commit yourself, you don't get to say how long your stay will be. You'll be evaluated to determine how much of a threat to yourself and/or others you will be and that will determine your length of stay. That said, depending on how bad things are, it might be for the best. I can only speak from my experience but when it happened to me, it was very much needed. Make sure whatever it is your are going through that you lean on the support of those who truly care for you. Also, if you can afford it, try to get into a private facility. County/State facilities will have you traumatized. And yes mental health treatment in this country is trash. Consider yourself lucky to find someone you can trust.

I’ll ask my therapist about it Friday. She’s an older black woman.

You don't have to wait. Go to an inpatient psychiatric hospital and voluntarily sign yourself inpatient for care or go to the ER, ask for help and they can find you a psychiatric hospital to send you to.

I personally wouldnt do that. That sounds like a last resort. I’d suggest finding another therapist first. But if you’re thinking of hurting yourself or worse, then you should go.

What’s your family situation like? Have you been smoking weed?

Some of them are good. Psychiatrist daily visit, therapy every day. Right dosage of meds

I’m really trying to prevent the worst outcome. Idk what else to do. Nothing helps. Nothing works.

I’ve seen three therapists so far this year.

I’ve had three different doctors because none care. They just want your money. I finally found one that I can trust though. Thankfully.

I’m scared to be honest on Friday with my new therapist because she might legit call the cops or have me admitted. I’d go. I won’t lie but I can’t risk my job or anything so not sure how that works.

Why not move to South/central America? Thought you loved it it there. USA can be very noisy and leads to a lot of anxiety

I do but the medical care and everything stresses me out even more. It wicks. I’m just stuck in life right now.
