Since you troll so much I don't know when to take you seriously, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. First of all, understand that if you commit yourself, you don't get to say how long your stay will be. You'll be evaluated to determine how much of a threat to yourself and/or others you will be and that will determine your length of stay. That said, depending on how bad things are, it might be for the best. I can only speak from my experience but when it happened to me, it was very much needed. Make sure whatever it is your are going through that you lean on the support of those who truly care for you. Also, if you can afford it, try to get into a private facility. County/State facilities will have you traumatized. And yes mental health treatment in this country is trash. Consider yourself lucky to find someone you can trust.
