What's the wildest shyt that's ever happened to you while dealing with someone that was really going through it, brehs?

Don't hack like you don't know twat I mean. I'm talking about the friend/SO/coworker/etc that buys 2 bottles hoffa the bottle shelf erryday with that overdraft fee type abandon in their eyes. Have you been abused? Did you participate or enable at all? Did you clown 'em or talk about em behind their back or while they were blacked out? How old were they and did you try to get help for them? How much were they or you drinking at the time? The symptoms go on and on.

You're already sharing your pennies in convenient stores, why not share a testimony about the dangers of the distilled demon?

Someone who excels in other aspects of life (career, relationships, etc) despite their addiction to alcohol.
My boy, for example... is an equity analyst for Charles Schwab. Got this big promo a couple years back, married the girl of his dreams, probably makes around 140k a year. But, dude gets blackout drunk every time we drink together. Every wedding, he's the guy puking somewhere, being hauled out and cabbed home. He kills a handle of something every weekend and probably goes through a 6-pack a day on weekdays.

the functional kind are included in this case because i've seen that ish catch up with people, first hand. it's kind of scary living in a town like mine where drinking is a huge part of the 'culture' .

does dude do anything at all to keep himself healthy or admit that he drinks way more than he needs to? nothing wrong with having fun but there is a limit. just because it's legal doesn't mean it's ok to do it all the damn time. has he ever fukked up or been too much too deal with? we've all been sick from time to time but it sounds like this guy is going through it! is there a pacific reason why he goes in like he does or is it just a general stress thing?

All the time, breh. Couple DUI's under his belt. At my boy's wedding 6 years ago he was drunk and managed to fall down a hill and fukked up his whole face. Had to take him to the ER. In Palm Springs a couple years back, he puked all over the table at dinner then passed out in it (it was one of those real expensive "I only see ya nikkas once a year so lets go big" kind of events). We've subsequently been banned from that restaurant. In Cabo a couple years back he fukked himself up on a jetski cause he was drunk. The best was one time (this was a while ago, maybe 5 or 6 years) we went out and dude got traaaaaaaaashed. I think it was like a Sunday night or something. He knew he wasn't gonna be in any position to go to work the next day, so he called out sick that night and then passed out. Well he woke up the next day and FORGOT that he had called out, had a guilt trip, and went into work. His boss was like "Didn't you say last night you had the flu?" Dude was, "Uh... I got better?"

But yea, pretty much anytime we get together, we're carrying him back to the hotel or apologizing to someone's wife or cleaning out the back of the limo or something.

Edit: Also got arrested for public intoxication a couple years back because he was drinking at home, walked outside to get the mail or something, got lost, made it up to his neighbor's front door (thought it was his house) and passed out on the doorstep.

Yea, that's been my nikka since I was 3 years old. Good dude but full-on alcoholic. He broke his neck in a car accident when he was 16. Got a million dollar settlement before he turned 20, and kind of has been on a rampage ever since.

Yea dude is always a good time. 4 years ago in Vegas, dude dropped 20k tag-teaming a couple strippers at one of the clubs... Olympic Gardens I think it was. Got home, looked at the AMEX bill and decided, "Nah I ain't paying for that shyt ." and called American Express and said his card had been stolen an hour before the charges appeared. Just pure unfathomable niggerishness.

Well the funniest thing is that he went back the next year to the SAME club, dropped $11k doing the SAME shyt, got home, had the SAME realization and was about to call AMEX again but we had to him and let him know that there was no way they'd believe him again so he had to just suck it up and pay it.

just hearing about this dude has made my day. i made this thread knowing that somebody had some wild stories. this shyt takes the cake and i know nikkas that have gotten so drunk they've started farms.
