Did a 9 day water fast two years ago. No food, just water. The first two days were torture but by day 3 the hunger pains went away.

I've been meaning to do it again. It's one of those things that make you really feel "in tune" with your body.
Am i reading that right? 9 days without food :what:? Can't be good for you.

Previously did a pure fast, went 30 days with no food.

This time I’m doing a hybrid. I'm on Day 5 now, and so far I’ve just been eating one grapefruit a day. I’m switching that out for an avocado or two eggs daily to stay in ketosis.

Starting Week 2, I’ll add in light exercise and protein powder to help preserve muscle.
Each week, I’ll gradually increase the intensity and variety of workouts.

After every 30 days, I’ll have one full meal as a reset, then go right back into it.
It’s a 3-month plan.

I did 4 days before with just water. I tried other stuff like master cleanse and cleansing in general. Second day of the water fadt was hell but the third day was cool. I had to go back to work so I didn't feel like I could be walking around like that all the tine. i feel like if you prepare yourself its a healthy practice. I regularly intermittent fast to this day

I used to do intermittent fasting, and then I did a 16 hour everything fast...

I did a meatless fast for a weekend, and I dunno how i survived. Congratulated my Muslim friends on Ramadan (even though it was months earlier), cause that hunger was beating me up, lol. Tried an impossible whopper and that joint was as filling as a regular salad. Tasted pretty good tho, lol
