I’ve met some while in the Army, and grew up with some people who fit the bill. No one was directly diagnosed with “psychopathy” though, just anti-social personality disorder.

Plenty... worked in prisons, both juvenile and adults and worked in closed Youth Service centers where they were in programs after a judge has them placed out of their homes. I've worked with teens(boys and girls) that were giving the predicate "non responsive to treatment" in files and were devoid of certain markers while having anti social behaviour patterns consistent with ASPD/cluster B personality traits. Kids that killed pets, harmed siblings,sexual abuse of siblings/peers, manipulating peers into prostitution, extortion and even murder. I specifically remember this one kid. He was pupil and I was working with the psychologist team on a treatment plan for his violent behavior which was not explosive but instrumentally put to use to intimidate and manipulate the other kids. He was transferred after it was found out he was extorting girls from another group and was using another boy with impulse regulation issues ( grew up watching physical abuse from his dad on his mom) as muscle to beat up kids that didn't want to pay him(money or sex). I met them both about three years after I left that job and they had ramped up their activities. The ASPD kid had got a sentence which basically meant a custodial measure for mentally ill offenders,this doesn't exist in the US but it means you are forced to be treated for your mental issues and a judge can prolong this measure until you are deemed sufficiently treated. I met them while he was on leave and laughingly told me how he was manipulating the psychologists and doing the same shyt in the new facility and was scheming to get with one of the interns and fukk her and then extort her to bring in dope and a cell phone,he was 13 when I met him. The other one was convicted of manslaughter two years later and almost killed another inmate that same year,he was 15 when I first met him. I promise these are humans you would not want to be in your neighborhood or at school with your kids, absolutely not an ounce of empathy or feelings towards others.

Yes, I believe that an immediate family member has that sh1t. The least they have is narcissism but from what Ive seen, I believe that its psychopathy. Its problematic to the point where it has affected the whole family dynamic to the point where we around them hide it. They are a master manipulator let's just say that. I dont wish that shyt on anybody because I see how bad it is. The choices some people make in order to want to "feel" power. Sad sh1t. You see how they lie causally and do slick sh1t which is all about controlling others so they have power over them.

The thing is psychopaths arent obvious to spot. If you met this person, you wouldnt suspect a thing or their behaviors. You have to deal with them first hand to see their shyt at work. Unfortunately, I do believe that shyt is genetic but I do believe someone can be aware of their condition and learn how to develop empathy. I do think empathy is a learned thing. Some people learn not to have empathy as well depending on the environment they come from. Just be careful of these types because they will drain you and they cant be fixed. This one family member i avoid like a motherfukker because they are draining as fukk to be around. Their energy is off. They need attention. Its like they are a vampire for real and they all about themselves too. Lies all the time, wants to control whatever I have or has no boundaries where they will take my sh1t if I dont set a boundary with them, makes up stories, egotistical af, irresponsible where they dump whatever obligations on someone else but yet wants to act like they should be able to manage such and such and take the credit for someone elses work, that type of person. Cant expect to inherit nothing but debt because they basically been manipulating their own living off of somebody else. Psychopathy doesn't always involve murder and violence. Its a lot of charming to let down someone's defenses then tricking them into getting what they want out of them

Not sure about the line between sociopath and psychopath but one thing is the constant scheming and seeing other people as mere instruments to use for whatever purpose. I've definitely interacted with people that have killed before

Yes, in middle school. I could tell he was insane, he could tell that I peeped it, and we steered clear of each other.
