I've done 3-4 over the years. Last time in Orlando at westgate. Got Park Tickets and like 3 nights in a double condo with indoor 6 person hot tub.
It was a super nice spot to stay.

saw our credit/income and came at us with everything they had, towards the end they threw an INSANE deal at us hoping to close. But my wife was like:usure: So we walked, they almost got me tho.

I know a lot of people take L's on time shares, but I know people who have had weeks for years and know how to finesse the system and they love it.

Timeshares are good if you dedicate yourself to taking that same vacation every year. My in-laws go to Hilton Head every year, but they also have yearly points that they don't use at all.

In fact, I need to plan a vacation

You dont have to go to the same spot every year, moms passed on her Orlando one to me and we only go every other year. We went to Cali xmas time for $150, going to Europe this summer. It works out if you freak it

You right, the modern timeshare ones you are able to trade your week and location for another place. My in laws bought their timeshare in the early 80s and go every year.

I want to get a week in Aruba if I ever buy one

My dad used to drag us to them as a kid all the time for Disney tickets. Never purchased one. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. I wouldn't buy one. I knew a guy that has one in Vegas. We stayed there on one of my trips.

I went to Vegas and bought one :snoop:

I cancel that shyt immediately. The next business day to be exact.

There is a law where u get a buyers remorse out. It ranges from 3 days to 2 weeks depending on the state laws. I was gon be stuck paying 800$ (shyt could increase over time) in maintenance fees for the rest of my life.

But if u are interested in buying a Timeshare. Search around and u can probably get one for literally 1$. You just have to pay the yearly fees which wouldn’t be so bad since the property(timeshare) is already paid off or in foreclosure

Yeah, when I vacationed in Playa De Carmen before it blew up as destination spot. Dude pitched me and was offering a free bottle or Tequila with a worm it, so I said fukk it.

It was boring but drinking the Tequila & eating the worm was worth the experience.

Fun times.

The wife and I only hit a couple of timeshare presentations, but the first instance in San Antonio, I noticed that they were only directing black and hispanic folks to the bus we were waiting on. They were letting white folks walk by. That sales pressure was high, but we just said we were in the middle of qualifying/purchasing a house and absolutely could have no inquiries into our credit. They completely shut down after that statement.

Yeah a couple times.

I've found an easy way out.

I just tell them, "I like the _____ but this isn't something I'm willing to go into debt for."

Take free _____ and leave.
