From what I read it was supposed to be a trilogy. In the third game you take control of Zero to kill X, who's grown out of control and crazy OP after the events of the first two games. A cool little concept IMO.

They should make a mega man game where you build your own robot from scraps of other robots and shyt millions of customizable possibilitys

I'd recommend em. especially since they'll be free thru an emulator

I started with 3 and went from there. They do the Pokemon thing were there are 2 version(Blue/White, Blue Moon/Red Sun, Team Colonel/Team Protoman, etc.) Instead of different Pokemon its different chips(what you use to battle with), Navis you meet, forms you can get but they are basically the same like Pokemon.

They are RPG games mixed with card battling in a way, fought on 9 panels for yourself and 9 for your enemies. Its all real time and you have to battle with the chips you selected until the meter loads and you can choose more chips from your folder. you only have 30 chips per folder so for the tougher enemies you have to be kinda efficient in battle. You do have Megaman's buster tho but its pretty weak and mostly I just use it if the opponent is too fast for the chips in my folder or get someone thats low in health.

The stories are okay. Nothing great but they move the game along and they arent annoying. Each one got progressively better too.
