Never tried it but i know my dad used to grow those little red flowers in our front yard when i was a kid. I didnt know what it was then.

Shyt's very addictive and will gradually ruin your life tho. I would suggest moderation...but that's damn near impossible.
Once a month will turn into once a week then once a day.

I smoked some opium once with some really chill folks like 4 or 5 yrs ago. I was pretty fukked up already though. Don't think it was anything mind shattering or anything.

do you mean opium as in actual opium hash,liquid from poppies,or any derivative like morphine and lady heroine..
want to badly,but haven't, though it may be a blessing in disguise,opeeyits of the "destructive"(at least as defined by western "puritan" [HA] standards,though thy think all plant based entheogens are here to teach&nourish,including coca and poppies,which a lot of hippies,new agers,patchuoli muhfukkas may disagree with) variety are thy weakness,i already like pain pill poison too much)..

yes, on a few occasions. The first time was messed up, felt uneasy and just so cold. The 2nd and few times after were fantastic man, just euphoric and laid back like a new born baby.
I first tried opium in Turkey (Instanbul) then twice in Thailand and couple here in the US.
