EMT, helped deliver a baby girl in on a bedroom floor not too long ago.

both kid & mother were, all things considered, fine.

Wasn’t at work this day but the mom brought the baby up to the station and took pics with the crew.

Help deliver my son and was front row for my daughter's C-section.

If you going to assist with a live birth I would recommend having something spicy to chew on like beef jerky or something because the smells are a little aggressive.

I got to see them take my wife's guts out and put them on the table and then stuff them all back in and whatever order they felt like and now she's got the phantom pain where her organs feel like they're obviously not where they used to be.

I wasn't shocked by either but I can see how someone who can't handle the sight of human blood and organs would have a problem. It gets drastic

doctor told you “you ain’t the only one rearranging her guts around here” :shaq:

Yea seeing all that white meat was crazy, looked like carnage and mayhem. Then, you look on the side of the sheet and your lady is looking like she is just tired.

Seeing my other kids vaginal birth was a walk in the park. The way they come out of the pumpum is unique for each baby. My 2nd came out like a worm.

My 3rd was so dam big he got stuck and almost went back inside several times. She had to push for 2 hours on this kid!

-I was there for 3 of my kids births & cut the cords. Aside from the joy of my child coming into the world wasn't anything dramatic. Seeing the blood, placenta, etc. didn't bother me. We joked about cooking it up & feeding it to her.

How would describe the smell?.
You’ll never forget it..
:manny:
-I don't remember the smell at all. It's been a while though.
