Wasn't a big fan of Undun, but no, I don't find them boring at all. Black Thought is an elite MC.

Do You Want More is my favorite album of theirs with Illadelph not too far behind.

Go listen to Adrenaline, no way you can call that track boring. Honestly though I think theyre for a more mature listener. I respected their skills when I was young but only really started giving them burn in my early 20s. Same with Common actually.

the roots have never been boring, but one thing that no one can deny is, that we missed out on a black thought solo album? i've always wanted to hear him over "regular beats". dude is one of the best mc's to ever grab a mic.

He was doing a solo album called masterpiece theater but then used most of his stuff for Phrenology. I've heard a few of the vaulted joints he has...one was a super Philly posse cut with like 20 MCs on it. Mally G...even had EST on it.

I can understand how someone can find their music boring, because their albums do range in energy levels, especially from what's out at the time. They have very few samples in their music as well.

Illadelph Halflife is their most exciting album, and their best, and How I Got Over is damn near a masterpiece so I place that in close 2nd. Things Fall Apart is great too.

The rest of their albums you have to find the tracks that you like. For me it's Star and Boom off Tipping Point, some of Rising Down, Long Time from Game Theory...Black Thought is an MC's MC.

It's like I said, they're constantly good. There isn't a bad album in there discog....but rarely are they great. And that's okay.

I really liked Illadelph, TFA & How I Got Over.
