gonna more than likely go with this…it’s the same brand as the wheel stand I currently have and they’re supported by microsoft…plus it’s easy to order in the US…I was leaning toward the sim lab P1-X but it’s not in stock…only ships from EU and that’s only the frame…they don’t ship seats…the F-GT elite is easier to buy, a reliable brand name, and if I have any issues I can easily send it back since it’s a US-based company…the GT omega prime is cool to and is basically a P1-X clone…but I like the look of the F-GT elite overall too

You skipped diving into the pool and went straight for the ocean with this racing setup, great to see tho! My co-worker has the Gt Omega Prime cockpit, so far he likes it. Like you said the look of F-GT is just top notch with maximum adjustability.

got a gift card from a friend…used it to buy a handbrake (can also be used as a sequential shifter)…this will be the last purchase

thanks to game pass and other games I bought/have from games with gold tho I have enough racing games to play—forza horizon 2-5 plus the fast and the furious joint, forza motorsport 5-7 with the reboot potentially dropping next year…and a lot of games from the dirt rally, F1 and need for speed series (although I don’t think I’ll be getting into these)…currently playing the fast and the furious forza horizon 2 add-on and motorsport 5

new handbrake/sequential shifter came in…much sturdier than the TH8A so I don’t have to be as gentle with it…also I think it’ll integrate better with a sturdier rig…gonna test it out some more then decide if I should return the TH8A

gonna stick with F-GT elite…last piece of the puzzle is to find out if I can use a sparco seat with the rig instead of the ES1

If you do like the wheel and end up upgrading the wheel stand to a rig, I recommend SimLab.

simlab is looking to restock rigs around the 2nd week of january…I’m still leaning toward the F-GT elite…for the most part it’s received favorably reviews but simlab rigs are the only ones that seem to go universally unquestioned when it comes to quality…looking at the P1X…I’ll wait til january and I see if I can get one before they sell out

you can buy castor wheels for simlab rigs as well…very important imo
