Anyone have skate 3 for ps3?

I just got the game. I like it a lot but shyt confuses me. I thought career mode would be competitions, but so far its just been me skating around town until I find some random challenge.

I have it, but the PS3 version sucks so I only play it on Xbox

theres not that many. some of the challenges are comps but its a lotta bullshyt. skate 1 was the best by far

also you dont have to skate around until u find challenges - you press start and go to the challenge map, and it teleports you to whatever challenge you want, with more becoming available once you beat them, there are hidden challenges that you will find if you skate about though

I really never cared about all that though. I was all about trying to do realistic lines and shyt
