right now my cardio levels are at an all time low, it doesn't help that I have asthma on top

to put it into perspective, i can't play basketball for more than 7 minutes without getting winded

does any know a good circuit or specific workout that can help me bring my cardio up to speed

Jogging. Jog a mile everyday. Breathe in through your nose and exhale from the mouth. When you get too tired to run, put your hands on top of your head , walk for about a minute and try to slowly control your breathing. Time and speed don't matter either, just get the distance down. Increase it by a quarter mile once you get 1 mile down.

Download the Nike Run app.

Is it legit asthma or hyperventilation?

Do diaphragmatic breathing aka belly breathing. Do not chest breath. If it's legit asthma, you can get medication.

Do you use some sort of inhaler to control that?
yes, but honestly i wanna go to a point where i don't have to use it

i have friend who was able to beat in his teens, but he did regiours work with the soccer team (i'm talking practice like 6 in the morn to 6 at night)
Try HIIT cardio. It mimics a basketball game because sometimes youre going full speed and other times its just a light jog.

nah it's legit asthma, i use albuterol
Sounds like something you need to be asking a doctor
he told me to go find a personal trainer

You just have to build up to it and control your breathing. Stamina builds over time. Just keep your pump handy.

Increase your playing time and don't stop as soon as you get winded, just take your pump and keep going. You can do this on a cardio machine or run/ speed walk. Your endurance will increase the more you do it.
