Every social situation that "calls" for having a drink isn't a mandatory option for having fun. A lot of people trick themselves into needing to get tipsy/drunk because they act a certain way tipsy/drunk that allows them to think they having more fun.

Bowling, going out, talking to women family get togethers, etc are all things I've done perfectly fine without a drink. They are basically the same activities that people do with a drink. I often rely on my sense of humor to satisfy my need for fun.

For those who drink/smoke, more power to them. No hating here. I often wonder how I would of turned out if certain past family related events didn't happen.
