Race wise I ain't seen a problem the seven years I been down here... I seen plenty of white girls choosing brothas here. As far as nightlife, I can't really speak on it as a married nikka. But the times that I have gone out, looking at it from a NY perspective, had me like :comeon:. I would rather drive the 8 hours back to NY and party than try to make something happen here.

I mainly came here because it was a better environment to raise my kids in, not because of it being exciting or happening or anything. If you a single dude, I'd encourage you wholeheartedly to go on down to Myrtle Beach for that weekend, or at least hit up Charlotte.
Raleigh is only 8 hours from NYC ? :ohhh:

Yeah I can usually do the drive in 8 hours if I leave at night. I don't live too far from I-85 in Durham, take 85 North, which merges with 95 in Virginia. I'm usually going back to Brooklyn so I get off the NJ Turnpike early and cut through Staten Island. I can also avoid construction if I'm fortunate.

Going to be at N.C state in August :blessed:

I used to party so hard at the Talley Center when I was a student at NCCU. Hope you had a great college life at Stare. The triangle is unrivaled for best areas to be a college student, because of all the colleges and HBCUs right there all in the same vicinity. What a life it was.

7 years later are you still in Raleigh?
