You're right...Winston is , drive to Greensboro for everything.

But about it being better than Charlotte or Raleigh?

UNC Greensboro is known to have parades of chicks......Known of tons of folks from high school that went to A&T and just lost their damn mind lol..........most are doing ok now, but when they got to Greensboro it was to the point of dropping out of school...

Raleigh is a nice city but it really isn't a good spot for young folks. I might move there when I'm like 40 and retired and whatnot. I liked going up there with the wifey when I lived in Fayetteville, but it was to let her shop and do her shyt. Myrtle Beach is where you wanna be.

Lived in Raleigh while i was in college. Nightlife was better back then plus CIAA was still there during that time. I live in Charlotte now, best city in NC.

Breh if you mess NY pizzerias you gotta hit up 4 brothers NY pizza off Newbern Ave.

I know got lot of fake NY joints, but this spot will make you think they smuggling slices out of Brooklyn.

Only thing I really hit up on New Bern is Popeye's; where is it, by the hospital? Anyway, I got one right by my crib in the shopping center behind Carmax off Glenwood/Hwy 70. Tony's Pizza. Pizza piffery. You right, a lot of spots here claim "NY style", and their pizza will have you like . There was a spot briefly by Brier Creek that claimed NY style, and I went there to check it out, and it was a couple Arab nikkas running it. I tried Brooklyn Boys in Cary, and they good too, just that it's too far for a nikka to go for a slice of pizza.

Long story short, I had a credit on Southwest, and with this new job I got, I won't be able to take time off once I start for a while. So, I got a friend in Greensboro who's like come holla at me. Southwest doesn't fly to Greensboro or Charlotte, so we meeting in Raleigh.

Going down there for Labor Day Weekend to see an old friend. I've never been there before, is there anything to do there? Should I get a hotel room downtown, or is another part of the city poppin'? Any help is appreciated...

Im from the queen city and man Raleigh is the shyt. Its so many colleges right by each other. If you party in Raleigh and cant get laid by one of the many easy drunk dimes of all nationalities off yaself.

I stayed in a suburban area hotel in Durham. We went downtown and saw where the Durham Bulls play but a game wasn't going on at the time. We visted a botanical garden and met up with a friend on UNC campus. This is during the summer so the campus was dead.

You could stay at an airport hotel.
