He was amazing..... Hasn't put out a book in a while tho

I just recently read an article on him and he wrote a movie wit Lindsay Lohan and the Porstar James Deen staring in it called "the Canyons"..

Should be interesting.

I loved "American Psycho"...

I just need that Glamorama movie in my life :noah:

Dude is the gawd contemporary fiction author... It is a shame that the movies that are made out of his books fail so bad... Aside from American Psycho ofcourse:BABY:

I thought the American Pyscho movie could have been done better. Imagine if somebody like David Cronenberg had directed it :ooh: Still really good though, but only because of Christian Bale's performance.

And I thought Less Than Zero and Rules of Attraction were dope, too.

American Psycho could have been a lot better with Cronenberg or Fincher with full control:takedat:

Rules of Attraction was great too... "Less Than Zero" pissed me off though how they left the two most epic scenes from the book out of the movie and made the protagonist anti-drug use... They turned it into a brat pack teen movie when it could have been darker...

I did it once almost 10 years ago now.

I was at a bar and this chick I was hanging out with had some. She said, if u buy me a couple of drinks, I'll let u have a couple of lines, she didn't have money to buy drinks.

So I took it. I was already drunk when I took it tho so I didn't get the effect of it that much. Never did it again after that. Its not really a drug I wanna mess with.

I have friends that take it but not me.

'The Rules of Attraction' and 'American Pyscho' were decent-good adaptations of Ellis, I can't fukk with 'Less Then Zero' at all, I was worked up when I watched the movie and it turned into Clay's crusade to get his friend clean, in the book he just watches it all go by, it's the whole point of the fukking book. 'The Informers' was 100% garbage, and I saw it in theaters, absolutely awful. 'Lunar Park' was so well written and interesting, I didn't like the ending, but good work nonetheless.

Other Ellis fans, read 'Imperial Bedrooms', the sequel to 'Less then Zero', it's pretty fukking twisted, borders of shock value sometimes...but definitely read that. Has everyone almost from the original, and it gets even darker.
