What makes you believe there's an afterlife?I think about it often... I believe there is an afterlife but it's the transition to that point that scares me

I don't like not knowing or not having control. Been like that since I was a little girl. Was hoping I would have mellowed out from that by now and been more at peace with the finality of deathI feel you but what can you really do about it?
I find that a key to happiness is letting go of things you can't control, and doing the best you can with what you have

Nah, but I get anxiety over time passing; thinking about loved ones and exes either memories from long ago or thinking about them in the future. It's like I can't handle how fast time is passing and I feel like I'm suffocating.

Even though I'm an adult, my parents are still fairly young as are my siblings. Couldnt imagine looking them all in the face one day and thinking of them as old. Would fukk me up in the head

Had some messed up dreams and sights as I wake up that give me hella anxiety about it. I'm a Christian but I've been questioning a lot of things about life, The Bible, other religions, and just people being shytty as hell in general, as well as why this why that kind of BS. I'd really hate to die and be thrown to eternal damnation when I may not be pure but my hearts in the right place in the end no matter what. Depression can be a blessing and a curse at times, but mostly a curse. All that said, I'm sure I'm gonna relapse on my sober lifestyle soon.

I read y'all's comments. I think it's a good sign y'all even posted in this thread (about the afterlife... as that is the True life). Just my advise to y'all. Think about it don't you want to be prepared for your eternal afterlife (which could be either eternal Paradise or eternal Hellfire) rather than not doing any good for it i.e good deeds for the Day of Judgment. Just like before you take a test in school... don't you want to study for it so that you can have success rather than say... I don't care what happens, I'm not going to study, i'll be okay even if I don't study, etc.. This is your eternal afterlife at stake. Be Real. Want good for yourself. Just be Righteous and you will be in eternal Paradise after death... it's not that difficult. Righteousness according to the Almighty is Islam... no matter what anyone tells you... it has to be the Almighty over everything if you want success in this life and the afterlife, basic logic, Truth. I said all of this to benefit y'all.

I believe in some form of reincarnation/rebirth. I'mma be back one way or another...though it may not be in this same form.
The idea of heaven honestly bores the heck out of me. Even when I was a Christian i found it stupid.
I can buy into the idea of hell (albeit non-eternal). Which is based on your deeds and not just beliefs.
