I grew up all over (southern) Virginia, and it really depends on where you want to live. If you're talking Virginia Beach or Hampton, do it.

I grew up in south/north Va. Both are overcrowded now and pretty costly to live in...Northern Va is the worst. North Carolina shyts all over Va.
