i love the casino. i play slots. WMS manufactured machines are my go to. i’ve made a few thousand or so the past few months. mostly off of free play.?this is my favorite game. the purple girls are sticky wilds and this machine pays out great for min bet @ 50 cents
i had some free play saturday.. about 60 bucks. i was down to my last 5 dollars in free play.. got a bonus, hit 180. then hit a minor progressive for 30 then a major for 400.
i do farely well with free play, i win more off free play than i do my own money. my problem is walking out when i’m up
about 2 months ago my boyfriend and I hit up Mohegan to get some food since i had 40 bucks in food dollars. i had no intentions of gambling, only had 5 in cash on me. put it in a machine, left with almost 400. went back the next day with his mom.. only brought about 80 in with me, had about 40 in free play. left with about 500 plus the 3 i had in my car from the winnings the night before.. then it all went down hill when my dumb ass decided to go back 3 consecutive days in a row
i love gambling and slots (obviously) but you have to know when to leave. the house only always wins if you don’t know when to leave! i get the luckiest with the least amount of money IE: gone with 60 bucks and got up to 700. i have an addictive personality so it’s tough but i just bought this lil handheld bank to bring with me whenever i go now. i’ll leave the key at home so i can’t even open it after i put money into it.
Mohegan Sun is about an hour and a half from me. 15 mins from my boyfriends. so i go a few times a month. but i rarely if ever bring cash. i’ll play with free play and winnings. MGM is being built not even 15 mins from my house and will be finished by Sept. i can’t wait
TIPS:
if you’re into slots..play end machines, machines that are in an area that has high traffic. the more people rotating through machines the better chance you will win good because it’s all based upon a certain number of when it’ll hit so more people playing it = higher percentage you’ll win. i always hit great on end machines. the casino wants people winning to be visible so other people feel they have a chance to win to and will spend more money.
it sucks to wait to get on a machine you’re interested in playing but it’s worth it. you want to play the machines that are always taken fast. they are for a reason.
licensed machines : movie, tv shoes, celebrities etc pay outs are shyt. waste of gambling money unless you’re playing high bets.
don’t play max or high bets consistently. not worth it. blow through money way too fast. but say i throw a 20 in and get it up to 160, i’ll max bet (2.50) down to 140. sometimes i get lucky and get a nice hit, most times it’s not worth it.
play machines like the one i posted above that have a guarantee to hit at ___ , you have better chances to not just win good line hits or a nice bonus but a random progressive
flip and dip: go on a machine, put a 20 in.. if you win nice.. say you flip it into 200 or even 100. cash the ticket out and move onto another machine. or take the ticket out and skip another 20 in.
take advantage of the player card and player perks! i get tons of free play, free food, gas, concerts! got to see future for free a few months ago. i don’t remember the last time i was at my boyfriend and really “payed” for a meal, i mean in reality i do by spending money at the casino but even if i don’t have a good come up, i get rewarded in other ways and a lot of times we go out to dinner at the casino with my players perks rewards so it’s nice
