I do and I'm good. Only downside for me is the jump scare I get when the AC comes on and the pressure change shuts a door.

Being secluded is dangerous after awhile though. You start to realize how great being in solidarity is, then you don’t want anything else.

Nah she my peoples. I'd help her before I help my own sister. We used to fukk a long time ago. She's here this week for a few jobs interviews. + She got a nice severance package from her last job so she's still getting paid for the next 6 months.
Oh...she also offered to pay my mortgage while she stays with me ( she makes a shyt load of money). Not gonna let her do that since she's not working yet, tho. The typical jobs she gets usually pay her over $150K
As far as wearing skimpy shyt...she's been in town the last few days for job interviews last week and she walking around the house naked as I type this. She's one of those California extreme liberal types that don't believe in clothes. Still weird as fuxk to me and gets on my nerves but it's just the way she is and I've accepted that over the years. I don't care as long as she get dressed when my girls come over.

There's good and bad. For me I love the fact the space is like a sanctuary. I come home and I'm alone and don't have to talk to anyone or deal with anyone or answer to anyone about what goes on within those walls. I love the privacy, no eyes watching me. I'm free in here. I can come and go. I don't have to concern myself with maintaining a conversation with someone else. I can chill in my place naked 24/7 if I so choose with all the inside doors open and expect no surprises.
Unfortunately that mentality of being solo carries through cause despite ending up being out of my house a lot. I go everywhere alone and just chill and take in the energy, often times I meet people at these venues. But I don't have to urge to have forced small talk, I just have the conversations I feel like having with people I consider acquaintances.
On the flip side I also shared a different apartment with my ex. We lived in different towns. So when I came through or she did we were together. But I still had my own place. That felt right to me as well.
Right now I live in a four bedroom by myself and my place is so quiet compared to the liveliness and multiple happenings in the houses next door that are exactly my house size. And it strikes me this place I call my own can become something like their place if I raise my kids here.
Their days and memories are probably full with what happens within their home, while my days are full of whatever happens outside. And when I get home it's all quiet.
