I’ve never smoked or drank alcohol
Never smoked or drank my entire life.
I chalk it up to never being a follower and never seeing the appeal of inhaling smoke even at the earliest of ages.
I believe that 99% of people who smoke and/or drink initially started due to wanting to fit in with the "cool" crowd. Being a follower. Caving in to peer pressure.
I have an automatic respect for people who don't smoke & drink because this society damn near shoves it down your throat everywhere you look. You have to really be a strong/independent type of person to not cave in to the pressure.
Not saying that people who don't indulge are better than those that do, but people who don't are more than likely to be their own person and not be a follower.
I respect it.

I don’t do either anymore. Almost 5 years off alcohol, and 6 months off vaping nicotine (I don’t smoke or vape marijuana either).
I’m healthier and make more money since quitting drinking. I wouldn’t say I’m happy though. I very much miss the social aspect of drinking. I’m super boring now. I wish I could drink like normal people, but I can’t. I quit vaping because it was irritating my throat.

barely drink at all. my vices are kratom and weed right now
took 4 weeks off kratom last month. Now I'm taking another 30 days break from kratom and weed so i can be refreshed in October.
