Yes. I'm sure most people have stumbled upon depression at some point in life.

Depression can be the "door way" to hell or to heaven. Often times depression can prompt action that leads to positive benefits. Yet It can also cause stagnation which keeps one trapped in a kind of "hell" which litteraly sucks the "life force" (drains the energy) on all levels of ones being.

How is depression to be the door way to HEAVEN? Not by seeking an escape. That is, the books, people, pleasure, movies, food etc. The moment one seeks an escape he has added life to the depression. Escape is like plucking at the leaves while never getting at the "root" thus allowing for the sprouting of depression to persist. Nor by becoming a slave to drugs with their innumerable possible side effects. The first essential thing is, i think is to realize that the root of ones depression does not lie "outside" of oneself. So there is nothing that is primary apart from the workings of your own mind thats causing the depression. If this is actually realized, from their right action has a chance of following, which includes directly facing it - not escaping.

How is depression to be the door way to HELL? By drepressing about ones depression. This is of the worst things to do. When ones does that, they go around in an endless circle of misery. Also, by attatching oneself to a particular negative, self defeating, fate promoting, abstract collection of labels such as "MMD, MS, BPD, Bipolar etc.."

I denied having depression for a long time, its weird because I can tell when its going on right away, and alot of times just reminding myself that I know what this is and in a week or month or so this will be gone and the sun will shine at least for a little while, helps me alot.

There are levels to it tho, the best thing in the world is having someone in your corner that knows how to deal with you when you get like that and has your back.

Havent watched all of this one yet. But as I've posted before Guided Imagery works for a lot of depressed people.

Its obviously better used with a therapist though.

Depression is crazy. It's a fukker too. But after 6,7 years I just decided one day I wouldn't be depressed anymore. Everytime it creeped back in I just literally shook my head to get my shyt straight. Been so long now I almost forget what that depressed feeling feels like. Besides I'm too busy to be depressed.. fukk that shyt, it's a demon. :whew:

Idk bro. Some people get it worse than others. Some like the attention and seek sympathy. Some just don't realize it's all in their heads. I thought I was good dude until someone pointed out I always act like an ass. Kinda woke me up cuz I didn't even realize. It started there, the recovery.

I suffer from bouts of it. My mom died infront of me from a blood clot to the heart so that image fukked me up. Then dealing with these harlots who only have their own interest at heart. Being used and dumped like trash had an effect on me. I get over it but sometimes the thoughts creep back into my mind. I just to do positive things with that energy like make music, write stories, help others but sometimes it just gets me down.

Seeing someone die no matter how seems to be a common trigger that sends people with any type depression in to full blown depression. Its a very very common thing from what I've gather, that and abuse. god forbid you have to deal with both.

Same here, it would be really hard to even trust someone with that kinda of thing from me. If I finally took some weight off my shoulders and got messed over from the person that I thought I could depend on....:sadcam:

I'd rather carry there burden and mine

Borderline Personality Disorder

basically all my emotions are wired up wrong and fire off randomly in mild to extreme degrees. It leads to either not having the correct emotive responses to outside stimuli, having extreme responses, or even having certain emotional responses for no reason.

Hilarity ensues. :mjcry:
Hell, if you look through my posts here, it prolly seems like there's two or three people using this account. You might get underlying tones of :bryan:, :mjpls:, :sadbron:,:damn:,:win:, or :demonic: at any given time. It's also why I'm all over the forum, and why I'm extremely active in some threads, then I just.... stop.

Let me ask you about BPD brah?

I have a friend who has it, but doesn't wan to get treatment. HIs symptoms are extreme. He's been to a psych and he has been told he is "Emotionally Unstable". She never said bpd, or attached it ass a personality disorder.

"Emotionally unstable" means bpd right?

It's a slippery thing to diagnose, because it's more of a combination of other so-called "mental health" problems. But that's pretty much the gist of it, yeah. it becomes more and more grey the more they break down issues and give them different labels.
