Anyone here use a VPN?

I got this laptop from work, they made me sign up to get a VPN, they had me bring in my passport and driver's license to sign up for it. Was this necessary?

I get on a VPN from my personal laptop with a token # and password.

Just had to sign some security papers and shyt to not share trade secrets.

You must be fukkin with some high level shyt for them to need your passport...odd cause they already have your social anyway...

Lets just say it's a government contract. They told me to keep this laptop with me at all times. Lock it up. Don't leave in car etc. I fukked around and was in the Bronx last night and the laptop was in my backseat.

Basically, they took me to a back room in the IT dept. The doors had combination locks and card scanners. They asked for the passport and DL, did some shyt and handed it back to me mean mugging
