Talking about any Native/Indigenous/African/Diasporian spiritual beliefs or religions on here will only be met with scorn or stories about a family member "cursing" them or getting "cursed".

Quoting Abrahamic Religion scriptures justifying polygamy, beating ur kids or explaining humans "Natural Order" is better received.

Obeah/ Vodoo/ Vodun/ Hoodoo/ Animism whatever you want to call it is what our ancestors were practicing for thousands of years, yet you got nikkas in here calling it evil but have no problem bowing down on their knees and praying to a picture of a white man or kneeling and praying to a arab who enslaved black people :dwillhuh::hhh:

Exactly. People tend to only respect the spiritual beliefs of those in power or those who have connections. This why people will curse their own ancestors and rename themselves after other tribes of men to join Abrahamic religions all over the world.
This is also why cults who provide jobs & housing are successful as well.
Spiritually conquering is the key to any kind of supremacy.

It is what it is...

It's all cap but its something with nikkas and "magic"/"vodou" that turns them into a fukking religious negro stereotype, anyways, there's tons of books out there, if you live in the South there's likely a lady you can go to that will lace you up, and there's online communities dedicated to it.

Specifically Obeah, you'd have more luck in florida
