Just want to know if it reduces water retention from too much sodium in your diet :manny:

I was just fukkin with you.

I don't take solely potassium supplements, but I eat plantain and bananas all the time. My body has very low water retention, which makes my muscles look good, but it's actually not healthy.

You must need to stay hydrated consistently throughout the day.

Potassium deficiency is rare as hell

Not deficency per se, but I've heard people take extra to balance out their bad Sodium habits.
@semtex is correct. You're listening to bro science. Any extra potassium you're getting from supplements isn't going to balance out your sodium balance. Your kidneys are very good at maintaining electrolyte balances no matter how much you eat and take in. Only ways to get rid of salt are to stay hyrdrated and stop taking so much of it in! Exercise. Potassium ain't the answer, unless you're taking Lisinopril or a diuretic where you're losing too much of it in your urine. Are you cramping up when you exercise? See a doctor

Yeah breh in that water thread I was telling people I drink over 2 gallons of water a day easy.
I wasn't joking I go through 1 gallon at work before lunch.

I'm always dehydrated.

You can test your hydration by pinching some forearm skin, pulling it up, and letting it go.

If you can barely get enough skin to pinch and it snaps back fast, you need water.
If this is easy and it goes back into place smoothly, you're good.
