I believe they just want to text you a code that you have to enter to verify the account. You have to do it to complete the account set up.

he should be able to use his actual phone#. it not, make a google voice # and use that. it can be based in the US.

When is the last time somebody tried from a vanilla account? Im on nord now. Im still getting “we couldnt verify your country” when i try to sign up for youtube premium. Nobody else is getting this? Im using ukraine

change vpn. Google has probably blocked the IPs of that VPN provider recently.

I went from tunnel bear free to nord premium. Still no luck.

You mean one of those Vanilla Visa pre-paid cards? Those won't work. Set up a Privacy.com account and use that instead.

No i mean when is the last time somebody started this entire process from scratch and it worked?

Im not an idiot. I was able to do this before with netflix just fine. Youtube is giving me a problem.

You can buy a temp phone number for Gmail accounts.

I used textverified.com for sms. You only get a few minutes to do it. It cost like $0.50.

I also signed up via computer. I've never tried it with mobile.

Any updates? This doesnt work at all for me using nordvpn or tunnelbear(free). Still getting we cant verify your country.

Anybody has a list of vpns that work with youtube trick?
