How would they know if u roll it back then say yu want to buy the car out and they look at odometer and see it's only at 5k miles? They not gonna bother hooking it up to computers and all that if they u tryna buy the car out

I found some websites that got the computer chips to do it but I want to talk to someone that got experience so they can walk me thru it

Why would you roll the miles back if you are planning on buying it out?

WTF are you on about bro?

How much money are you looking at saving if your plan succeeds vs the number of years you will be in prison.

Just an FYI to all the coli brehs, get a CARFAX when you get a used car. It can be used to detect odometer fraud on cars with digital odometers.

@We Ready idk my boy talked to the dealership and they said its 16gs to buy out the car cause the lease was for 30k miles but he has about 55k. i am pretty sure this is what was said but he was talking a lot of nonsense trying to confuse us

Carfax has some vehicle history report stuff. If the car was bought new in 2012, then that would have around 0 miles or so and where it was bought. Then if someone sells the car, it would have information like mileage, date sold, which DMV it got registered at. If someone brought the car to a dealership service, it may have service records. Maybe list the recall service, mileage of vehicle and date service was performed. If the car was in an accident and it got repaired, it would list things like mileage of vehicle, date when it got repaired, what got repaired. If the car got stolen and was given a salvage title, it would list that too.

So if you roll back the odometer, things don't add up if the vehicle has 5,000 miles and CARFAX shows it was registered at another state's DMV with 12,000 miles.
