I'm holding out for a slim one myself because I heard most of the PS3 slims didn't have the yellow light issue. I wouldn't know tho, I had the fat one.

Correct me if Im wrong but alot of times, you aren't aware of the problem until a couple years down the line. Like I remember having one of the early ps2s and getting caught with the DRE thing

There is inly one known ps4 problem, and it happens the first time u plug it in. Get a 3 yr warrenty if ur worried about it....shyt xbox 360's made 2 yrs ago get the rrod

I bought my PS4 about two months ago and so far no problems .
