Name a Southern Rap artist not influenced or impacted by Outkast, and Luda is why Southern Rap artists can have success in solo careers, and constantly changing up their styles.

the majority of southern rap artists are NOT influenced by outkast.
chit, the majority of Atlanta rap artists are not influenced by them. lol.

as for the Ludacris comment, have you ever heard of master p?

not dissin outkast & Ludacris but they were moreso guys that had their own lanes and put on for their squads but their success didn't do anything to help the south as a region. especially Ludacris, who came out after the south was already in place.

Yeah I have, No Limit was ass all around and with deserved declining relevance with the quickness. Luda actually did some good, brought a unique style still being bit upon in newer ATL waves, over 27 hit songs, lasted amidst competition, and has something worthwhile.
You don't see anyone or hear anybody trying to be Master P, let alone biting his style, good God......

So, T.I., Jeezy, Gucci, Yin Yang Twins, etc don't have strong influences from Outkast's first 2 albums? You forgot when they had a trap/ignorant banger beginning to their careers???
:sas2:
New ATL ignorant asses is also practically that on steroids and Trap beats, ever pondered why you never hear them slandering their musical offspring? They fathered EVERYTHING those nikkas popping off for now, yet stay getting dissed by Trap heads.

this is bullchit.

most of the names youre mentioning will tell you otherwise. especially jeezy & Gucci.

you were in 2nd grade when master p blew the south up. and I can tell you weren't one of those 2nd graders that were into hip-hop. and I can tell that you did no research on rap history.

just making stuff up as you go along in typical internet fashion.

I f*ckin hate the internet nowadays. bout to take another hiatus from this board after this post.

as for the beginning of outkasts' careers. they were a southern version of souls of mischief mixed with arrested development's drawing base. lol @ outkast being the origins of trap music.

I'm done.

I hate the internet nowadays too, yet nikka did you pay attention to anything I said? Like Master P was a good influence and LONG LASTING one at that for Southern Rap? So, Jeezy and Gucci can't relate to their 1st 2 albums, but somehow rapped like Master P?
:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:
"Internet fashion" sounds like the shyt you're doing, you do realize influence can be indirect too? It doesn't have to manipulate your brain chemistry.......

You can't be serious comparing them to Souls, lmfao, and I said they were the inspiration for what would become ATL Trap music, Future is a Dungeon Family relative by blood (3K and him did "Benz Friends"), and you think THAT is coincidence?
:comeon:

All Outkast talked about on Southernplaya, and ATLiens was songs about high class hoes, difficulties on being rich as a rapper, history of Georgia, being in the club, slanging drugs in ATL, racial and cultural stereotypes on Southern lifestyles, becoming ballers, their whips and music, etc. It's not like they instantly became what they did on "Aquemini"

SOUNDS FAMILIAR DOESN'T IT?

:camby:

Bro, just give up you making generalizations that aren't even on topic, this at most is "101" level history of ATL Rap, they are why ATL thrives the way it does now. I can tell from how you wrote those half-ass responses, that you definitely aren't any smarter than a 5th grader, let alone 2nd grader. You really tried comparing them to West Coast Rap, that's a first.
