Anyone on here honestly think Jordan impacts a game more than Wilt or Shaq?

This was a question from another forum(shout out insidehoops), but I fukks with yall coli nikkas so I wanted to see y'all opinion on this.....

Me personally, if you have A+ big men( Wilt, Kareem, Shaq) and A+ guard/forward( Jordan, Magic, Lebron, Bird), 9 times out 10 you have to go with the big men.

The way i was brought up on basketball is that you build around the big man. Thats why more teams look for dominant centers in the draft. It also depends on the style of play of your team, but for the most part yea i'd pick a wilt, shaq, kareem,or the dream over mj,lebron, kobe. thats just my opinion though. to each his own.

It's a no brainer IMO.

A dominant big man >>>> scoring wing.

I see where y'all are coming from, but you also have to take into account that Jordan can handle the ball whereas Wilt and Shaq or any other great center cannot. If you have bad guard play, it's going to be difficult for a big man to be as effective as their potential dictates. You can just give Jordan the ball in the backcourt and get the fukk out of his way and let him do whatever he wants. Not to mention who better to trust in the waning moments of games? Foul Shaq/Wilt when they're down 2 with 10 seconds left and you can reasonably expect to win the game.

a big man makes up for poor guard play whats the percentage of shots taken a 3pt shot vs a shot in the paint(lay up dunk etc) and as dominant as jordan was imagine if he had prime shaq lebron as well you put lebron or mj with a dominant big man and they win championships until they get bill russell status

Nobody impacted a game like Jordan.

Guards/wings are responsible for gettin the ball to the big men.

Yall see clips of Shaq and Wilt handlin the ball and probably thing they won't get stripped tryna bring it up the court.

nikkaz still tryna discredit Jordan.

You guys have to take into account the Jordan was the most dominant wing player to ever play the game. Big man> wing player, but Jordan is the exception to the rule. Jordan and Shaq are the two most unstoppable players I've ever seen, followed by LeBron.

On a side note... What is wrong with these young nikkas coming into the league? Do these dudes not see how the GOAT dominated the game with that mid range and low post turn-around/fadeaway jumpshot?? :damn:

But you could flip it the other way as well.

Shaq didn't win titles without a dominant wing player. If you gave prime Shaq prime MJ and LeBron then HE wins titles until he gets Bill Russell status.

Jordan.

Tough to go to Shaq or Chamberlain down the stretch due to bad foul shooting & having to rely on a pass to get the ball in the 1st place.

You can inbound to Jordan, have him bring it up and have just as good of a chance hitting a clutch shot since Jordan shot as well as either of them.

Jordan also played mad D.

In theory, a big man could dominate more than any other player, but he'd have to be a dominant offensive & defensive player, good FT shooter and be able to handle the ball. I think a modern "big man" that doesn't exist yet would be a better arguement. Durant, plus 30 lbs, that rebounds & is a top defender, for example.

Guys like MJ, Kobe, Magic, Bird,Lebron who can score, facilitate, and close are very rare, and pretty much the best type of player to build around. Bigs are dependent on wings to set them up. Wings are able to get themselves going, and their team

Wilt and shaq were liabilities in close games they both sucked at the ft line,Also they can't be effective unless they're 5-6 feet from the basket and if someone gets them the ball

Jordan hit game winning jump shots,3's and ft's.Wilt and shaq never did.Jordan can facilitate and draw doubles and find the open big man like he did when he got bill wennington the gw dunk vs the knicks off the ewing double team, like he found paxson in game 5 of the 91 finals and steve kerr in game 6 of the 97 finals.Jordan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Wilt and shaq

In today's game, I'd say Jordan. We've transitioned from an inside out league to a super heavy PnR perimeter league. MJ would have to get the nod right now.
