Anyone own a 350z

Specifically the 07-08 Hr version?Been watching videos on YouTube about these and they seem to give these newer muscle cars a run for their money.I test drove one and the exhaust is feels like a big go cart.Hows yall experience with these reliability and performance wise?

get a manual. The auto trans for those years are know to blow up. Also those Z's untuned/stock wouldn't give a v6 camaro its run for its money.

Didn't know about those transmission problems..just googled it.Doubt a v6 camaro can handle a 350z unless you're talking about the 6th gen.

You think the g35 coupe has the same problems?Originally wanted one since it's more practical and cheaper to insure.

They fixed the auto trans problem in the 370z models. Im not sure but the g35s auto trans.

I had a 350Z (04 DE) and I have a G37S now. If you want to give musclecars problems look at an early 370Z with the auto box. That is a 12 second car stock and basically has the same engine as the 350Z HR with 200 more ccs. I think it's lighter too and can take bigger tires out back.

Yes the 370z is much improved. The 350z is still a great car too. I think the HR revisions address the oil and chain that could happen. 350zs can be had for very cheap it's almost silly to not consider it.

I'd say it's the best starter sports car you can get today short of something way smaller like a Miata.

Had a 2007 350z Grand Touring fully loaded with navi, 6 disc changer, staggered Enkei's and a sub = all stock.



Best car i ever owned and would buy another in a heart beat.



Best 4 anos of my life.



Shiit was a babe magnet.



Had the Bimbo brakes and errthang.



Own a 16 Wrx now and even though this all wheel drive is the squirrels pearls...




The 350 was the tiger's desires.

I always loved z’s. The 300 zx is one my personal all time favorite whips. I ended up going with a g35 though, needed the rear seats. It's been a champ for me, I would recommend.

Borrowed my friends for a day back in the day and I just loved how low it felt to the ground and how that created an amazing feeling when merging in and out of traffic in it

Hated it.

Heat soak caused massive power loss / shytty throttle response / no torque due to engine timing.....
Add in the power loss from A/C and I was getting outrun by minivans in the summer.
Cabin was tiny, rear visibility was ass, and the ride quality all made the lack of power unbearable.

Hated it.
