How long does it take to get decent?
depends on how long ur willing to put into it, practicing.
I've played guitar longer than keyboard/piano, but I got better at keyboard faster.

i dunno why but people are hella impressed if you can play sum classical shyt on the piano.. i play other instruments but piano makes people
its one of the easier intruments imo

The funny thing is, barre chords are sometimes easier on a more expensive guitar.
Because the quality is better. My first acoustic guitar was cheap, and barre chords were hard as hell b/c the 'action' was too high). But I didnt know it and just assumed it was that way on every guitar. I have a better one now and barre chords are easier....go to guitar center and play an expensive acoustic guitar and see how well it plays
Or you could get an electric guitar and they're easy as hell.
Or you could just use a capo. That's what I typically do.

Yeah it was super easy to learn... I'm going to have to start back playing
