Played it for a while yesterday and a little bit today. The controls are wierd but the game is fun as fukk. Game should get better and better as people get used to playing it.
No stats to build up either. All you have to do is play. Matches are quick too only 6 mins. If a team gets up by 4 the games ends. The have 4v4 and 5v5. I like 5v5 better. Playing goalie is fun too and I like how the goalies switch after every score.

I 100% agree about the controls. They are weird.

The physics and haptic feedback with the soccer ball feels so good. And being able to ricochet passes above the goal like an alley oop is so fun.it looks interesting

The beta has been super popular, its probably the next semi-big game
i was mad they weren’t following up sifu with another action game but it seems they made the right choice going with a multiplayer/sports game.

There’s supposed to be a console beta next month. Game comes out on June 19th tho and it's gonna be on gamepass.
THis sounds interesting. My friends and I were heavy on the fifa pro clubs, but havent been on in a while. this might be a good alternative. Always thought a smaller side game would be just as fun and less chaotic
Playing this game on game pass and it's solid. It remind me a bit of rocket league and it seems there's learning curve. One thing I don't like is you can get some randoms that can ruin a match and try to troll.

Comparisons so you can get an idea, a feel for what this game truly is.
Its the soccer version of Run n Gun
I know that's not a popular enough game to resonate with casuals so...
If you play FIFA, usually as the title loads you can fukk around on the field and do passes/shots/etc. This has similar but it feels like you have more control. Tighter controls. Almost like if its a fighting game that has a soccer element to it. And instead of hitting people (which you can with slides) you're hitting the ball. Or as the goalie you do a "move" and it automatically catches the ball if you do a move. Do nothing and the ball goes by you.
On offense you don't have to press any special button combos to do trick shots. To do a bicycle kick you just try to kick the ball while you have your back turned and if the ball is in position to be hit? You'll automatically do the best move for the situation. And the more you play the more you learn how to manipulate what you end up doing. You can throw in words like intuitive and all the other words that makes you sound smart n shyt.
I would HIGHLY recommend any and everyone to try this game out. Definitely a game in my ROTATION for the foreseeable future
