Those PlayStation magazines were the highlights of my month.

Going to the shop and seeing a brand new edition with the disc in front of it was like :gladbron:

Actually I think a lot of the games I “played” on PS1 were the demo discs and not the full versions. Certainly true for games like resident evil and silent hill.

Yup, demo discs and occasional rentals was most of my gaming as a lil kid.


I would get 1 or 2 games for birthday/Christmas/Easter and that was it.

Ive posted mine in here before but I still have the blue Pizza Hut disk and one from PlayStation underground. I have huge nostalgia for them as, like many said, they were the only way I got to play a lot of new releases.
