It can still happen if the new gods movie gets made and if flashpoint really does end up rebooting the whole cinematic universe. We've got a batman movie coming and a suicide squad movie too. If these do well theyll likely reconsider doing an actual extended universe again but this time doing it right and not trying to rush it.

Snyder cut Darkseid was mid, but that scene of him fighting the gods was dope.

Batman movie was a hit. Gunn suicide squad movie shat so hard on the original that he got the job rebooting the DCEU. Everyone's just ignoring the flash movie which ended up being nothing special(except for Sasha calle supergirl. I'd slip on that kryptonite Trojan and bust faster than a speeding bullet )

Would've loved to have seen the Snyder verse Darkseid before WB pumped the brakes of the two part Justice League. If nothing else you know the fight scenes would be

Superman alone was more powerful than all of them, remember how he dispatched the dude that was bodying the league in a matter of seconds.
