Thanks tho guys... I'm gonna suck it up at some point because I wanna make music and master the art of Hip-Hop. Become a MC that's something not many people can call themselves.

I dabble, i'm no lyricist though and I don't want to be. I rap about and say just average trap rapper sh1t and I recorded a couple of songs last year. I was playing my sh1t at the gas station and I heard some cat say to his friend, "That boi Scooter be snappin."

At least you're conscious about the quality of material you're trying to put out. Most cats just rush on the mic and the outcome becomes garbage. I produce and engineer as a hobby.
... Just do it breh, just tell the ppl around you to keep it real with their opinion and don't make it your primary goal on life. It only takes one good track to give you that confident you're looking for.

Yeah I have like 10 verses written in my phone that I wanna record.
Like homie said above, have some type of product when you make that type of claim. Otherwise people gonna think your blowing smoke.
When it comes to rap, People are only gonna take you as serious as you take yourself, so with atleast a couple songs or a mixtape people will be more likely to accept your claims.
