"Oldboy" is my favorite Park Chan-wook movie. Why couldn't they remake "Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance" or "Thirst"?

"Old Boy" might end up being dope cause Spike is working from great Source Material. Samuel L Jackson is actually in that movie too, lol. I just hope it's a brutal as the Korean Version. It's funny, "Old Boy" remake is something I would expect QT to make over Spike.

I don't know why people were looking for some type of social awarness on slavery message in this movie.

I saw it as a story about a man trying to rescue his woman. they just just happen to be slaves. I was more caught up in Django's journey and evolution than the period.

Saw it, enjoyed it, it's a QT movie, all this pandering/slave story/****** talk is moot. QT has subtle messages, but moreso those you think of on your own vs being force fed. The music as cray and Sam jack's uncle ruckus character was 100% on the money lol
