what you think of the movie breh?
Stop all of the plea copping. You're wrong, Django is not a western. You're just embarrassing yourself at this point. You're a disingenuous prick who's also not too bright. You'll call Django anything but a movie about slavery even when slavery is clearly the entire backdrop of the whole movie. Without slavery Django is a completely different movie. You cannot separate slavery from Django. The plot of the movie is that a slave gets revenge on slave maters while rescuing his enslaved wife. Again, you want to call it anything except a movie about slavery. I see right through people like you. I have indeed seen the movie, and it confirmed everything that I said prior to seeing it.obviously the movie has spaghetti western themes. there are a shyt load of cliches and themes that make a movie a western and i'm not going to go into them. i will say that the protagonists and antagonists of westerns are usually 19th century cowboys, gunslingers, bountry hunters, or bandits and their motives range from noble justice bringer to selfish anti-hero. django has alot of these themes the main one being that of revenge. like most western's in the sub genre of spaghetti western, django's motives are purely selfish. he's not trying to free or abolish slavery, he just wants to kill criminals(who were mostly white), get paid, and free his wife. there are plenty of australian western movies set in australia during the 19th century, so obviously western movies are not soley located in just the west. my favorite australian western movie is

i'm done responding to you because your douche baggery is approaching self righteous internet troll levels. i'm willing to discuss the movie in depth, but seeing as you've yet to see it and is just pretty much calling anybody who disagree with you an idiot followed by opinions based on a movie you haven't seen......what's the point![]()
Django is not a western period. Stop trying to cop pleas with that "it had western characteristics" BS. Just read the dumb shyt that you just wrote here. As if they only had guns and horses in the west. How did you find your way out of bed this morning? It may not be a true "Western" movie in the way you're trying to get across but it has all the characteristics of a western movie. The music, the guns, the spurs, horse riding, hell...Candie even calls Django a "cowboy" at one point. QT was inspired by the original which was in fact a western movie. Oh yea, STFU![]()

either you're an excellent troll or legitimately deficient in terms of basic comprehension.Westerns aren't set in the south they are set in the west. You crackers are stupid as fukk.
It's called simple English. If you didn't have a sub 80 IQ I doubt that you'd have trouble reading.either you're an excellent troll or legitimately deficient in terms of basic comprehension.

You only think that I'm wrong because you're as dumb as the people that you're siding with. I smell that oily wet-dog aroma on you too. Finally saw this today in the theater. It was cool nothing special imo. The story was ok and it dragged a bit. DiCaprio was the only notable acting performance in my book. Samuel was good. Some of the scenes made me cringe. And why were whites saying "nikka" instead of "******" in the film?
It was also bugged from my point of view cause my whole family is from Greenville/Leland MS.. and I visit that area at least once a year. oh well

who is the hell approved these f*cking dolls?....and who the hell would buying these sh!t? Now that too far.
I think you're looking for the wrong reasons about this film cause it wasn't about the slavery movie, it was about the revenge movie.
You should have expected from Quentin Tarantino. He obviously paid a respect/nod to blaxploitation, which he did with this film.
You expected this movie to have historical film with this movie and I think you wanted this movie to be like Schindler's List or Braveheart, etc.
