:whew: Them shyts is hard as hell. Earlier today I was trying to sink the two legendary ships you have to fight together. Them shyts are :damn: Separately they could get that work, but together, it's almost impossible to beat them. I tried to beat another legendary ship a few months back and got crushed. I think I might be able to handle that solo one now.

Anyways, has anyone sunk one yet?

I Sank 1 but got Killed by a Ghost Ship and Died Trying to Body 2 that Run together. It's Hard in Freedom Cry sinking Ships that are Protecting Slave Ships too because they also run in 2s, sometimes 3s. All I can say is to stay behind those Massive Ships because all the Work comes from the Side.:whew:

I've sunken two. Utilize the hell out of heavy shot and stay on the offensive. I don't recommend even trying until you've fully upgraded your heavy shot and hull armor. I tried one at the beginning of my first play through cause I'd been taking out some damn Schooners and a few frigates. :snoop: Came at 'em like :smugfavre: and :jawalrus: Was flattened and humbled with the quickness.

Slave ships? :dahell: Since when does Assassin's Creed 4 have slaveships?

I'm almost fully upgraded. I have one last bar remaining on the Hull. Is heavy shot when u just press triangle, or is that when you hold the R1 and then press triangle? Yo I never use the barrels. It just seems too hard to drop them at the right place during a battle.

Lol. Of note, I've destroyed all the forts in the game :smugfavre:

Neither. Triangle is the swivel shot that's utilized after you connect with your broadside cannons. If you're on the PS4, heavy shot is used when you slide the camera to the side of the boat as if you're going to fire your cannons, but instead of aiming with L2, simply press R2. Heavy shot is devastating and I think you can carry up to 40 or so at a time when you full upgrade its storage.

It's amazing how poorly they described the boat controls. Did any of you know you can command your crew to sing and to stop singing? Press right on the D-Pad and they'll sing. Press down and Edward will tell them to shut up. I only figured that out by mistake on my second run. :wow:

I sank them all in the main game. The ghost ship and the one always trying to ram you in (it's in the north west corner) were the hardest.

Ok, I'm playing on ps3 and on there I aim with L1 and fire with R2...I think. When I just press R2 these fireballs come out. Is that the heavy shot?

Lol yeah, I figured that out long ago. U can also change songs. I've never heard edward tell them to shutup when I stop the singing tho; it just stops on its own.

Aiming is done with L2. L1 aiming is for the mortar shot. If you just pressed R2 without the L2 and your camera is on the side of the boat, then yeah, that's the heavy shot. You're going to need it if you want to take out the legendary ships. And yeah, he'll give them a variation and tell them to stop singing. How he says it is random, though.

Oh, sorry. Yeah, not mortar (still thinking about how I kept fukking up the mortar and the telescope earlier during my fight with one of the legendary ships :snoop:). But yeah, ok, so I'm using the heavy shot right then. I only use it sometimes.

The Spanish ship in the southeast part of the map is probably the easiest, all you have to do is avoid the mortar shells, get behind it and ram the fukk out of it...

Those twin ships on the northeast part of the map are the fukking worst though...I can take one down but when the second one catches on fire and goes super sayan I can't do shyt...
