Neuroscience wasn't what I wanted to do anymore and I work in a research lab that studies cognition and that sparked my interest in becoming a cognitive psychologist and focusing my future research there and the only reason I'm a history minor is because we're forced to have minors and I already have enough history credits for that not to be a problem
cool. as long as you have set career aspirations
i was a psych minor/accounting major...too many ppl did Psych, behavior and neuroscience without knowing what they wanted to get outta it smh.

No, I already graduated :blessed:

My tip for everyone going back to school is remember it's all about who you know. Network as much as possible with professors and other top students. Go to career fair. Make a return on that investment.

@Thomas what was your last LSAT if you don't mind?
165 cold.
I've been PTing at 173-176 now though.

I really respect the fact that you're going for a score that's elite among everyone, even though as a minority 165 probably gets you in most places.

You're going for Yale/Harvard/Stanford I assume?

If you get a 175+ :banderas:

Based on your pt scores you really should be looking at Y/H/S.

It's all about who you know, and those schools open up crazy networks. And even though law school has gone to crap in the last 8 years, the top schools still provide unrivaled opportunity. It's only gone downhill below the top 14 honestly.

You don't need to learn how to program, other people can do that for you. Just make sure you always know what's out there so you don't miss any opportunities.

Damn son what's the highest level of math you gotta take? Calc 3? Calc 2 kicked my ass at my school but then again I didn't take it at community college. Highest math I have to take is linear algebra right after calc 2.

goin back in a week. have a co op opportunity that the school offers after this year so imma have to see how that works.
actually i got a question for yall: my brother works at a software company and im gonna be looking for a co op job in that field (programming etc). he can most likely get me a spot but i'd have to move out and live in the city where work is. can't drive (no car) but its probably my best bet to land a job. what would you do?
