I gotta take a speech class this semester, it's a requirement for my degree.
Anyone on here taken one before? What was it like? What did you do? I had a presentation last semester that I completely whiffed on. Completely choked and embarrassed myself in front of class, so I'm not looking forward to a class that's 100% based on giving presentations in front of everyone.
AS SOMEONE WHO HAS PERFORMED IN FRONT OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, LET ME TELL YOU MY SECRET FOR DEFEATING STAGE FRIGHT OR NERVOUSNESS, BROTHER!
YOU'RE ONE PERSON, ALL ALONE, ADDRESSING A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE, DUDE! NOW THAT MIGHT SCARE YOU, BUT CONSIDER THIS, MEAN GENE: THEY'RE A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE, SITTING THERE QUIETLY, LETTING YOU PUT IDEAS RIGHT INTO THEIR HEADS WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, BROTHER! THEY'RE SHEEP, DUDE! THEY'RE EATING OUT OF THE PALM OF YOUR HAND, MEAN GENE! THEY'RE THE ONES WHO SHOULD FEEL STUPID, BROTHER! REALLY, PEOPLE? YOU'RE JUST GOING TO SIT THERE, LIKE YOU'RE IN CHURCH, AND LET SOME GUY DICTATE TO YOU, DUDES?
THAT'S ONE REASON WHY WE CALL WRESTLING FANS
MARKS, BROTHER!
